- A definition of partial disability, according to which you are considered partially disabled if, due to illness or accident, your ability to practice optometry is impaired and results in a net income loss.

- A choice of waiting period of 30, 60, 90 or 120 days.
- The annual indexation of the sum insured for insured persons 54 years of age and less.
